The Green Room, our fully-accessible, ground floor community area in The Standard, is the most versatile place to hold events in Dumfries town centre, with options available for gatherings of all kinds - and a sliding scale of hire charges, with discounts available for repeat lets.
Our showpiece community-owned building also welcomes bookings for its separate High Street-facing retail / event space (The Front Shop), as well as for its first-floor hot-desking hub (The Enterprise Quarter).

High Street pop-up shop and event space
The Front Shop is our superb retail event space, directly on Dumfries High Street. Available for long and short-term occupation, this is an ideal space for pop-up shops, community consultations, information events, small exhibitions or even an office. Availability depending, this space can also be hired in tandem with The Green Room, with which it links, to take over the full ground floor of The Standard.
Empowering enterprise in our High Street hot-desking hub
Desks are available to book in our flexible and affordable hot-desking space in The Enterprise Quarter on the first floor of The Standard. This dynamic hub - which is fully wheelchair accessible - provides a superb springboard for start-up enterprises, as well as those looking for the opportunity to work with other creative, collaborative and innovative people, with a real community feel. Desks need to be booked in advance.
Desks can be booked for half-days (£6) and full-days (£12).
