Formal applications open to live in first Midsteeple Quarter flats

Applications have formally opened for people who would like to live in the first flats to be created as part of Midsteeple Quarter’s transformation.

The new homes, available for rent at mid-market rate, are in our trailblazing community-owned development, The Standard, at 135-139 High Street.

Those who have already registered an interest in living in the homes have been contacted and emailed an application pack.

Registrations of interest can continue to be made until Friday June 21st by clicking here. Application packs will be sent to anyone who signs up by that date.

Completed forms should be submitted by 5pm on Friday July 12th 2024.

All applications will be assessed by an allocations panel.

Experts from South of Scotland Community Housing are supporting Midsteeple Quarter during the allocations process.

The homes available are a one-bed live / work studio flat, plus six two-bedroom flats. You can read more about them here.

Queries can be emailed to homes@midsteeplequarter.org.
